Fentanyl Rehab
Do you ever wish you or your loved one could just stop using opiates, but you or they afraid of receiving Fentanyl rehab help because you fear you’ll experience painful symptoms of withdrawal or problems with cravings and pain?
Does the opiate dose appear to keep going up, though the level of pain is not decreasing?
What if the pain and complications of Fentanyl cessation could be avoided, and life could be lived with no more pain?
When there are no opiate drugs present, the underlying source of pain can be more effectively addressed, since the body ultimately becomes tolerant to opiates.
Finding the right Fentanyl opiate rehab center is one of the essential parts in the process of recovery for individuals who have found that they’ve developed Fentanyl addiction; physically and/or psychologically. This potent narcotic used for pain relief can quickly lead to an addiction once the user has developed a tolerance. Once the opiate’s effects have diminished, then more and more of the drug will need to be taken in order for the person to achieve their desired effects, this is considered a tolerance. Opiate rehab can include the services and programs that clients need to cessation and successfully recover from opiate dependence.
Rehabilitation facilities and programs can widely vary in their approach for Fentanyl rehabilitation. Some programs are in-patient and others are out-patient, they can either be short- or long-term in duration. Some individuals may not have several weeks or months that they can take out of their life for rehab, therefore there are rapid cessation programs and many other opiate rehab programs which can safely, discreetly and comfortably remove the drug within 7-10 days. Fentanyl rehab centers that offer medically supervised approaches for cessation are the safest way to go. Medically-managed cessation is usually undergone with the proper guidance of licensed medical practitioners that oversee the whole process of rehabilitation, and they are usually able to be reached anytime day or night in case a client has any needs that arise. We provide 24/7 care in our residential Sedona drug treatment surroundings.
An important aspect of receiving Fentanyl rehab help is having support from peers, family, staff, and talking, with friends, peers, counselors, staff, therapists, family and individuals who are in the same situation. Going through opiate rehab to end dependency or addiction, or to overcome withdrawal symptoms makes withdrawal much more tolerable. First, the person is not in the same environment or with the same people in which their drug use took place. Second, any uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms can be tended to immediately with the 24/7 staff that is available at in-patient rehabs. Additionally, Fentanyl rehabilitation teaches the person about what may have caused them to use this drug in the first place, and how they can remain drug-free long after they leave rehab, allowing them to completely recover. We offer comprehensive life skills classes and aftercare plans to equip our participants for life after our AZ Fentanyl rehab program.
Many individuals dependent on opiates were given these drugs after they went through a trauma or a surgery. Many others, primarily personalities that are of a sensitive kind, are drawn to the opiate’s dampening effects on emotional sensitivity. Opiates work by mimicking the actions of the body’s natural pain-killing endorphins. This also causes the body’s natural endorphin production to shut down. Endorphins not only just block physical pain, but also block emotional pain as well. When an opiate is withdrawn, no endorphins are present to help block pain; therefore even a light touch can hurt. However, when Fentanyl cessation is done correctly, it is a relatively simple process that is entirely tolerable for the individual.
In the Sedona drug treatment program at Alternative to Meds Center, we use a combination of one to two weeks of treatment with Suboxone, and nutrients specified to build endorphins. This makes this a surprisingly mild withdrawal. Suboxone is a medication that greatly relieves withdrawal by occupying opiate receptors but it will not drug the person, and is administered from our doctor. The individual is converted from Fentanyl to Suboxone, and then gradually reduced from Suboxone for one to two weeks. This substantially eases withdrawal. The individual will also receive during this time high protein foods, amino acids that are created to restore low endorphins, is encouraged to exercise, and avoid processed foods and sugar. Aside from easing symptoms of withdrawal; raising the natural painkilling endorphins with nutrients greatly diminishes the chance for future relapse and provides a long-lasting relief.
We are uncovering success daily at the Alternative to Meds Center, and celebrate these victories every week by having graduations that up to 50 individuals come to, including the participant’s peers and family members. We hear astonishing stories sometimes during the graduations, where people tell about years of pain, and they can tell the tales now with sharp clarity. We feel enthusiastic when we see this knowing that individuals can leave our program with skills they can rely on to help maintain a happy life.
